Aussie Bird Stitcheries

I now have 6 of my Aussie Bird series completed.  The Galahs the stitchery is done, I just need to put the cushion together and write the pattern.  I am currently working on a New Holland Honeyeater and this will be followed by a Barn Owl in flight, a Kestrel on a fence post and Willy Wagtails facing off with their tail feathers fanned out, that will only leave the 12th one which is yet to be decided.

The stitcheries are my travel projects for travelling to and from the Craft fairs we exhibit at around Australia, and yes I can take a needle through security and onto the plane.  Scissors cannot be taken but the round Clover cutter can.

Happy Stitching  Heather
